Landscaping Estimate Calculator

Price a landscaping job from its real costs. Enter materials, crew hours and equipment, then add overhead and your margin to get a price you can quote.

How the landscaping estimate calculator works

A landscaping estimate has to cover materials, crew time, equipment, hauling and your overhead before any profit. Jobs go wrong when only materials and labor are counted.

Estimate the crew hours honestly, including loading, driving and cleanup. If you track past jobs, use the real hours rather than a guess.

For recurring lawn work, use our lawn mowing price calculator instead.

The formulas

Labor = crew x hours per person x labor cost per hour
Direct cost = materials + labor + equipment + disposal
Cost = direct cost x (1 + overhead %)
Price = cost / (1 – target margin %)
